What Makes Us Special

Wakefield Middle School is an Advanced Academic Coursework campus (AAC). We prepare students to take Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses offered at University High School, Cholla High School, and Pueblo High School. At Wakefield, each class is either Accelerated or Honors and serve as a gateway to not only high school, but college and career readiness and success. These courses provide culturally and personally relevant activities designed to engage students in problem solving, academic discourse, and critical analysis through a Project Based Learning (PBL) lens.

If you feel that Wakefield Middle School might be the right fit for your student, be sure to speak with our School Community Services team at (520) 225-6400.
